TechniClean CO2 Pellet Blasting along with our proprietary methods has successfully removed lead­based paint from a flat surface at a rate of 100 sq. ft per hour from 10 to 20 mils in thickness. On the hard to reach angles and pockets TechniClean achieved 60 sq. ft per hour from 10 to 20 mils in thickness. This lead abatement project left the contaminated surface area 99% lead free. The waste generated by this project was one and one quarter barrels from 3000 sq feet of surface stripped. The posttest of the surface for lead found no detectable lead upon the surface cleaned by TechniClean. The Noise level was monitored and the highest decibel level was found at the nozzle of the blasting unit reading 109 decibels and the Hepa filtered exhaust monitored the highest level concentrate of CO2 was 1800 ppm.

Along with the lead painted removal TechniClean removed approximately 300­sq. ft. of epoxy coatings at a rate of 35 ft per hour.

TechniClean is in the process of fine tuning a new proprietary methods that will be available in the near future that will remove 10­15 mils of epoxy coating at a projected rate of 60 sq. ft. per hour and will improve our rate per hour on 10­20 mils of lead based paint by an increase of 10 percent.
