The CO2 Pellet Blast process was originally introduced by Lockheed. They were the first agency to do research and development for this environmentally approved cleaning method. The original testing included blasting exterior surfaces as well as components for large aircraft. Boeing also uses this method for cleaning surfaces. The results proved to be excellent in removing coatings, which had been applied to fiberglass.
TechniClean envisions a need in the industry for cleaning the rotors of aircraft engines, which accumulate baked on carbon and debris. This process would work excellent in this area as our company does this type of cleaning in the electrical industry.
We have very good success removing excess oil and rubber from airport runways with our nondestructive cleaning process and with minimal contamination disposal.
